We have an exciting opportunity for a senior full stack developer to join us on our mission to keep people moving in pursuit of their dreams in Africa. The role is based in Accra, Ghana but we are happy to speak with candidates anywhere in Africa who are open to relocating to be on-site in due time.

The role will be suitable for an accomplished engineer who wants to go all in to build something that changes lives, including his/hers.

Your Role:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Brolly, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our digital insurance management platform. You will work closely with our product team to design and implement new features, optimize existing codebase, and ensure the scalability and performance of our application.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain backend services using Java Springboot

·       Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React Native

·       Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with external systems

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

·       Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation

·       Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in full stack development

Skills and Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

·       5+ years of experience in full stack development

·       Proficiency in Java Springboot and React Native

·       Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and cloud services

·       Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

·       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

·       Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills
