Meqasa is seeking qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of a Finance Officer. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Bank of Ghana regulations.
Job Description
· Candidate will report directly to the CEO of the organization
· Candidate will report all vital operations issues and execute many day to day decision if authority and discretion are granted.
· Candidate will act as the bridge between staff and management to make sure all operations and processes in the organization are run monthly.
· Candidate will take care of the financial duties of the facility, such as Accounts Payable, Monthly Bank reconciliations and many more.
· Candidate will execute payroll and benefit payments and formulating.
· Candidate will develop and manage operational budgets
· Candidate will collaborate will the legal counsel to address legal issues, for instance antitrust, governing instruments, licensing and others.
· Candidate will be responsible for submitting management reports periodically.
· Candidate will be responsible for filling and payment of SSNIT moneys, taxes and other levies.
· Candidate must ensure billings of clients and client payments are done with speed and accuracy.
Requirements
· Candidate must have an analytical mind and ability to stick to timelines
· Candidate must be proficient in accounting software and other related software.
· Candidate must be aware of the requirements and regulations of the Bank of Ghana and other agencies.
· Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and financial models in MS Excel to be precise.
· Candidate must have good writing and verbal communication skills
· Candidate must be attentive to detail always be ready to probe further in data.
Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields
· Proven experience working as a finance office or similar fields.
