The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Internal Audit to assist management in improving the risk management process. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will support the head of internal audit to assist management in improving the risk management process.
· The candidate will assume an active role in the development and maintenance of an audit universe and risk-based audit plan.
· The candidate will be responsible for creating a controlled environment that will detect and avoid any fraud.
· The candidate will design work papers that document the evidence of audit work performed and the conclusion drawn.
· The candidate will be responsible for participating in field work as appropriate to ensure the quality of staff work and procedures.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Commerce by a recognized institution OR ACCA II, CA II, ACIB II
· Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as an Audit Officer
· T24 proficient
· Must be computer literate
