Rock City Hotel, a leading player in the hospitality industry committed to delivering exceptional guest experience, is looking for a detail-oriented and organised store officer to join their team and ensure the efficient management of inventory and supplies. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of goods and supplies within the company.
· The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and updating stock levels regularly.
· The candidate will conduct periodic stock audits to prevent shortages, discrepancies and waste.
· The candidate must ensure proper labelling, storage and handling of inventory according to company standards.
· The candidate will work closely with procurement and other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
· The candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting inventory reports to management.
· The candidate must implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the store.
· The candidate will be responsible for identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommending necessary actions.
Qualification
· HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of materials control systems is an added advantage
