Job Location/Region: Kwahu, Eastern Region, Ghana.
Report To: Project Director.
Job Overview:
The Site Architect shall be responsible for overseeing architectural aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The job holder shall work closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful execution of architectural designs on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
· The candidate will be responsible for generating As-Built Drawings
· The candidate will conduct site visits and field inspections to gather measurements, photos, and documentation of existing structures.
· The candidate will be responsible for accurately translating field data into detailed as-built drawings to support future design or renovation projects.
· The candidate will use advanced architectural software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or other BIM tools) to create highly accurate 3D models of existing buildings, incorporating site conditions and structural details.
· The candidate will be responsible for assisting in master planning based on as-built information
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
· Proven experience in generating high-quality as-built drawings.
· Advanced proficiency in 3D modelling software (Revit is a strong preference; Sketch Up, Rhino, and AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
· Comprehensive understanding of architectural documentation standards and building codes.
· Knowledge of construction materials, building systems, and structural components.
