Listening Bureau is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Financial Accounts Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Accounting or a relevant field. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.

·       The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledger.

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements such as statements of financial position (balance sheets, P & L) and ensuring financial reports comply with accounting standards and regulations.

·       The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with regulatory authorities such as GRA, SSNIT, etc.

·       The candidate will advise on tax planning and strategies to minimise tax liabilities.

·       The candidate must ensure timely and accurate payroll distribution

·       The candidate will be responsible for handling payroll-related taxes and compliance

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing the organisation’s cash flow to ensure liquidity

·       The candidate will be responsible for developing cash flow projects and optimising cash management strategies

·       The candidate will oversee short-term and long-term cash flow planning

·       The candidate will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and managing investment risks

·       The candidate will develop strategies to maximise returns on investments

Qualification

·       MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Accounting with 7 years’ experience in a similar industry

·       Possession of a professional certification – ACCA/ICAG is an added advantage.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

·       Good knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, etc
