Kitea is seeking the services of detail-oriented, results-driven, hardworking and qualified and hardworking individuals for the Financial Controller position. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or economics. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flows.

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with accounting standards

·       The candidate will develop annual budgets and financial forecasts

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations and corporate policies

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business or economics

·       8-10 years of practical experience in finance/accounting

·       2-3 years of financial statements preparation experience

·       Strong knowledge and application of IFRS

·       Experience using an ERP system

·       A retail business background

·       Knowledge of data analysis tools
