Senior DevOps Engineer at Fintech

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the development, deployment, and operation of our fintech products. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. The Senior DevOps Engineer will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to streamline workflows and optimize the product lifecycle.

Duties and responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

·       Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for the deployment of fintech products.

·       Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable releases.

SDK Development and Management:

·       Develop and maintain software development kits (SDKs) for various platforms, ensuring compatibility and ease of use for developers.

·       Collaborate with software engineers to integrate SDKs into products and services, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

·       Implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

·       Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

·       Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of production environments.

·       Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Security and Compliance:

·       Implement security best practices in the DevOps lifecycle, including securing CI/CD pipelines, managing secrets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

·       Collaborate with the security team to conduct vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:

·       Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

·       Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Automation and Scripting:

·       Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.

·       Explore new technologies and tools to improve automation and overall efficiency.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

·       Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.

·       Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

·       Strong background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

·       Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) and experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

·       Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.

·       Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

·       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
