K. A’S Live Company Limited is seeking qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of a Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate should have the right experience and qualification, be able conduct feasible studies and drafting bills of quantities to determine projection of construction material, labor and equipment costs. As follows are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

 Responsibilities

·       Candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies and drafting bills of quantities to determine projection of construction material, labor and equipment costs.

·       Candidate will be responsible for creating detailed budgets, that include cash flow projections for each stage, for the project based on cost estimation, market fluctuation and contract details

·       Candidate must anticipate any project issues, changes and potential overruns of cost, coming up with mitigation and contingency

·       Candidate must ensure the project plan adheres to relevant contract regulations

·       Candidate must meet clients to determine contract needs for price and feasibility revision.

Qualification

·       5 years of proven work experience in quantity survey

·       Experience in the construction or mining industry is an added advantage

·       HND/Bachelor’s Degree/Masters/Professional Certification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline

·       Excellent network and socialization skill

·       Strong background in construction or project management is an added advantage

·       Good interpersonal and coordination skill

·       Proficiency in Information Technology
