Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the Duty Manager position. The Duty Manager will be under the guidance of the Front Office Manager. The ideal candidate will assess, evaluate, and ensure that the long-term and short-term needs of the department are met. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for supporting and assisting the front office and all departments in the hotel

·       The candidate must ensure the provision of a smooth, prompt, effective, and satisfactory service to all guests

·       The candidate will direct and manage the Front Office in the absence of the Front Office Manager

·       The candidate must ensure the smooth running of operations on a day-to-day basis

·       The candidate must ensure that Fire Exits are free of obstacles as per Kempinski Health & Safety Policy

·       The candidate will be responsible for supporting and assisting all front office sections

·       The candidate must ensure all guests are received promptly with cordial attention given

·       The candidate will be responsible for inspecting guestrooms daily

Qualifications

·       HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel management or other relevant fields

·       5 years of proven work experience as a Front Office Supervisor in a 5-star property/company

·       Proven track record with good progression

·       Good leadership skill

·       Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills

·       Comprehensive Opera knowledge

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
