Pharma Jobs seeks qualified, passionate, and hardworking individuals for the sales and marketing manager position. The ideal candidate will provide, develop, direct, and coordinate strategies to promote the company’s product line. The ideal candidate will also promote new products produced by the companies to healthcare service providers. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate promotes new products developed by the companies to healthcare service providers

·       The candidate develops and strategically implements a robust reporting and invoicing system.

·       The candidate will develop a strategy to effectively manage outstation sales executives.

·       The candidate will determine and achieve the sales goals of the organization

·       The candidate will develop the overall marketing strategy for the pharmaceutical organization

·       The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the marketing strategy

·       The candidate will analyze the effectiveness of the strategies

·       The candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, and monitoring the performance of the sales support staff

·       The candidate will handle the competitors and identify new markets

·       The candidate will participate in trade shows and conferences

·       The candidate will observe and trap the competitor’s prices, campaigns, and new product launch

·       The candidate must ensure a good market share of the products under the portfolio

·       The candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on support through the field working with the sales and marketing team

Qualification

·       Minimum of First Degree in Marketing or any related field

·       3 – 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the same industry, and 1-3 years of management experience

·       Membership in a professional body would be an added advantage

·       Good written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to lead and motivate a group of people

·       The ability to think of new ways to engage with customers

·       Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) and office programs

·       Familiarity with data analysis and reporting

·       The ability to learn and understand company policies and procedures

·       The ability to be enquiring and analytical

·       Behavioral Competencies

·       Emotional resilience and ability to work under pressure

·       Conscientious, honest, and accountable for own actions and behaviors

·       Ability to plan and successfully execute

·       Ability to manage client feedback positively

·       Team building and effective personnel management
