Akim Bosome Rural Bank Ltd seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the Microfinance Officer position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing overall coordination, technical support for cooperative development, and management, and implementation of micro-finance and cooperative development programs in these governorates. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will conduct a market survey and facilitate entry to potential communities to promote microfinance development.
· The candidate will be responsible for embarking on a proper group animation process to strengthen microfinance development.
· The candidate must ensure good group formation and management
· The candidate must ensure proper loan appraisal, disbursement, monitoring, and recovery
· The candidate will be responsible for conducting training needs assessment of clients and providing them with financial literacy training
· The candidate will submit periodic reports to management
· The candidate will perform any other duties that may be assigned by management
Qualification
· At least an HND in Marketing, Accounting, or any other relevant field
· Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in community dynamics and development customer customer-oriented
· Will work in remote catchment areas of the bank
· Possession of motorbike riding license and riding skills
· Must be computer literate
· Good written and verbal communication skills
