DKT International seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Content and Social Media Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating content and scripts for DKT AWA. The Content and Social Media Manager will work closely with the creative team to build content strategies, create targeted and relevant content, and distribute marketing communications to audiences both online and offline. The ideal candidate will work with or under the Senior Marketing Manager to support marketing operations and achievement of the company and programmatic targets. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the creative team and brand officers/managers to develop and execute content for Digital, Mass Media, BTL, and trade campaigns

·       The candidate must stay up-to-date with social media trends and capitalize on those that align with our brand objectives

·       The candidate will create compelling content that resonates with the target audience

·       The candidate will  be responsible for identifying emerging digital platforms and technologies, providing strategic recommendations for new opportunities that could benefit the brand

·       The candidate will be responsible for performing additional responsibilities as directed by the Senior Marketing Manager or Country Director

·       The candidate must uphold confidentiality and integrity in all brand-related communications and business processes

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree or HND in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field

·       Strong understanding of digital marketing and the various related platforms

·       A minimum of 1 year of proven work experience in social media management with the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector

·       Strong understanding of West African youth demographics (Gen Z and Y)

·       up-to-date with current trends and industry best practices

·       Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills

·       Good written and verbal communication skills
